This high performance 4 Megapixels Full HD Network Camera is packed with functionality. It has 9 times the monitoring area of a conventional camera, with the image quality staying the same. HD provides high quality images, using H.264 for video and jpeg files for still images. The 10 x autofocus zoom lens incorporates autofocus so no focus adjustment is needed nor are additional lens purchases required. That means you get highly detailed, sharp target capture with clearer print outputs.
Recording and storing on SD memory cards as well as external 2.5" hard disk drives ensures data integrity without having to use a PC, and access to all of this is possible via the internet using secure server software. Image data loss is prevented by Power-over-Ethernet capability. Because a high pixel count camera can cover a more expanded area the number of cameras is typically fewer. In addition, costs for camera main unit, cables, housing and installation can also be reduced.
